Japan with Dane, Yadin, Conner, Kolohe and Courtney was the best trip ever, and then it was over. Everyone went back to California for the US Open and Yadin made the final. Then the contest people all went to Europe to earn points, and Dane wanted to do airs like the airs John John does in Lost Atlas, so he took off for the place in Indonesia where John John filmed those Lost Atlas sessions. Dillon Perillo flew from Europe to meet him.

John John was also in Indonesia but not with Dane and Dillon, and Yadin was in France qualifying for the ASP’s world tour, and everyone was minding his own business. Japan was ichiban fun-time memories but nothing more.

Then something more. A second storm formed and looked like it might become a second typhoon and so a second trip to surf Japanese rivermouths lit up the wires. Dane and Dillon broke for the airport. John John met them at the other end. Yadin tried to recruit Conner and Kolohe to leave contest land for a Japanese repeat but couldn’t, so he flew alone from France to Osaka.

That's how Japan trip number two started, a reunion tour for Dane and Yades but with new friends along. This is who all was there. It ended up being the best trip ever again.
