• Some cool boats Blake [Myers, filmer] and I found on a little photo hunt. I really like the name Self Help.
  • A cool wall we found on that same photo hunt. I like the colors and art, I feel like I’ve seen it somewhere before.
  • The trip was full of this. Pulling up to spots, sitting, watching, pulling the pin and heading off elsewhere. Blake being a badass, Nate being over it.
  • Terry, our guide and friend in Barbados. Thanks boss, you made it easy.
  • A spot we ate at for Mitch's birthday. Looks like paradise if sun-baking, swimming and drinking is your thing.
  • Kai is always gathering great film. Can't wait to see how this comes out, at one point the baby sheep swings around and chases Kai.
  • Stampede.
  • And John with the intercept.
  • This is at an old rundown hotel. It's crazy how big this place is and the location is perfect. I guess the hurricanes destroyed it years ago.
  • Unsafe.
  • The surf check at John John’s secret left!
  • Barbados is a really colorful place. Every house is a different color, the water is blue and the land is green.
  • Decisions were tough…“There's gotta be somewhere better, let’s check the next bay."

Chippa really has an eye, two eyes actually, yellow eyes, catlike.

He surfs catlike too, in the third prequel to Dear Suburbia, for instance, where he does some feline maneuvering on a surfboard, in Barbados, which is also where he shot and captioned these photos.

More from Barbados in the first issue of What Youth Quarterly available from whatyouth.com in June, and in Dear Suburbia, which is being edited right this very moment at a remote alpine cabin in the woods.
