These nine minutes are shaken from two long, surreal weeks of misadventure into parts of the world so far south they bend and warp and maybe going there makes you bend and warp a little too, because the boys sure did, especially at first when the waves didn't show and they didn't show and didn't show. Eventually Dane, Craig, Dion and Conner had to make a call to move or keep waiting. That night they went out, hard, as a sacrifice to whoever controls these things, and the next day they packed and left to find a hidden wedge on a whim and a rumor.
Eventually they found what they were after. See what that means in Dear Suburbia, available in September on iTunes following a monthlong North American premiere tour.
See more from the trip here in Prequel IV and in the original What Youth feature, The Penguin Cult.
The first three prequels to Dear Suburbia and more from the film can be found on the Dear Suburbia page.
