We set up a Facebook page for What Youth.
Now, past experience suggests Facebook can be a horrible saccharine strip mall of cheap digital trash, narcissism, voyeurism, a healthy list of other isms and none of them good. Between the four of us who started What Youth, we haven't had a Facebook page since 2010 because just no.
So the plan is this: For now, we're going to post things we make and do and like on Facebook and converse with the people, and listen. And if it's rad, and the people like it, then fine.
But if it becomes boring or depressing or if Facebook is truly the K-Mart (not even the Wal Mart, which seems slightly cleaner) of the internet that we've always suspected it to be, we're going to burn our page and never speak of this again.
The experiment begins here: http://www.facebook.com/whatyouth/
