Jeremy Asher Lynch is a creator. He's a talented filmmaker, photographer and artist. His film Remind Me to Forget — which streamed here at What Youth for 29 hours or so last Friday and Saturday — is now available for download. The film is a rare thing in the modern surf world: a pure, independent release made for your enjoyment. It features some of the best surfing we've seen from Andrew Doheny — a distant departure from his early days of NSSA glory and sweatpants, now a leader of freesurfing and fun (a true ambassador and representation of what it means to be a surfer today). Not to mention the now financial mogul in NY and former co-slob Kyle Kennelly doing some inspired Hull gliding, as well as Ford Archbold and Alex Knost, surfing and living as stylish and raw as life will let them. Fuck the critics, they're doing what they want and this film showcases them perfectly.
Through the creation of the film, Jeremy shot a variety of film cameras and snapped photos of everything along the way, providing a very candid, uninhibited document of the film's production — which features a very unbridled and rad trip to Mexico, as well as some local love.
